The french company Jardiland is a large retailer of garden, terrace and balcony equipement: flowers, plants and accessories.
Collaborating with Gianluca D’Alessandro (IT) and Jacob Foley (USA) we detected the lack of informations about plants as a big problem for the user.
The purchase of a plant is much more thoughtful than we commonly think: it is very sad to buy a plant and see it die in a few weeks!
Jardiland is already providing a lot of informations about its products on the website, but inside the store there is no communication an a little presence of trained personnel.
Thus, we developed a product that would transfer information such as growth, flowers, climate to the user when he gets near to the plant.
We developed several mock-ups and the user interface (edited by Gianluca) and designed the whole related service.
